Roller Blinds are described as a window covering that uses stiffened fabric attached to a timber or aluminium roller to allow the fabric to be extended or retracted across a window. The mechanism that rolls the fabric can be spring loaded, motorised or moved by hand with a chain. Depending on the choice of material the blind may either totally block out light or still allow light to shine through the fabric. Often the type of blind chosen is impacted by where in a house it is being placed a living area for example may still want light to shine through.
